Of course, my server screwed up and I did not get your message until this time. Thanks for the info.
The only reasons for shorting WFC, or selling its calls, or buying puts, is the fact that their expansion will create a temporary shortfall in revenues. although I agree with you about the banks in the end.
However, I think the Canadian banks -- better p/e's, etc. - have a greater chance of profit.
And I do believe the bond's due for a dump in the shorter term,.. and maybe longer term.
I'd appreciate hearing from you if you have any other ideas on stocks you're following.
Do you do anything with a stock prior to the split? Are you following a lot of stocks?

I certainly find Warren Buffett interesting, but do you think that you would buy something simply because he did? And if you would, how much of an influence could there be with how many people who have the money to spend hundreds of thousands, millions, on investing because Warren Buffett did? - unless they do it on the news of his investing to grab some quick profits.
