EDS quarterly earnings will be announced October 28th with an analyst meeting in Boston. I would expect good news for such an unusual (for EDS) mid year analyst meeting. The announced accounting charge for the early retirements seems to perpetuate these type of things. I am personally getting tired of the frequency although its a smart move in todays environment if you can justify expenses that are one time and not related to operations.
