So what does all that prove? It proves that some of the founding fathers are hypocritical in their comments and willing to suppress their beliefs when they felt it expedient(typical for a politician, but not the mark of a devout religionist) or that they may have felt it expedient to profess religion at some times to help their career, but slammed it privately, or just felt strong enough that regardless of their personal beliefs, their should be a definitive separation of church and state.

Based on all of their statements, it is impossible to draw the conclusion that they felt that this should be a Christian country.....
