Mark, it was not too subtle, I don't read most of the futile exchange of insults on the thread. I responded to your post out of context of this exchange, because, IMHO, you stepped over the good netiquette boundaries. I am not saying that others on the thread are not stepping over that boundary, you should set for yourself higher standards of response. Maybe the whole thread may then come out of this recent kindergarten modus operandi.

You are absolutely right, most of the time, I simply do not "get it" when these exchanges are filling the thread. On both sides, these are not even "witty".
