rjbac, It takes a little while to get information from Oroperu as they are doing no promotion in order to conserve money. What money they have appears to be going into the ground. Now that gold prices are showing signs of recovery I have revisited many of the juniors and small producers I have followed for years and found Oroperu to be faring much better than most and in my opinion, in an excellent position to benefit from what may be the beginning of a gold bull market. Battle Mountain God has a 3 year option to purchase Tres Cruces and their first year is just about up. Part of the agreement requires that they spend $2.9 million on expenditures and drilling in 1999 and they have a drill program in place. So in answer to your question, this deal has definitely not fallen through. I hope to speak with Mr. Livingstone within the next week or two. I like what I have seen so far. best regards, spinner
