I would say these Zero Knowledge comments are off the mark

They are trying to argue for the old system of leaving your identity at dispersed web sites under the control of whoknowswhotheyare.com.

No one controls a digitalme identity server. Your information is being put in one place, just as you put your valuables in one safe deposit box. That doesn't prevent you from going to another bank and getting another safe deposit box.

I saw nothing yesterday at the demos that would lead me to believe that Novell intends to monopolize or centralize digitalme server sites. I would expect that plenty of smart companies will come along to operate digitalme server farms based upon the ability to deliver affinity groups to the market.

If you look at SI where we post here, they sell every damn thing you or I say. They read your private posts and they sell that information too. SI is like living in a fish bowl. I look forward to the day when I don't have some 24 year old webmistress with no experience in life and judgement telling me what I can and cannot say!

You all adjusted quite well to Fred getting kicked out of here and you believe these complaints from a Novell competitor about "centralization"!
