Thanks joarel! Let's cross our fingers. I think they will get their ok to proceed.

With MCI WorldCom and Sprint merger announced, I think they will get it. It's the new order of things.

Then watch CGI Group make an announcement about getting their IT arm of the business 2-3 weeks later. They could have been talking since May 1998 you know.

A friend of mine researched this and found a press article from The Globe and Mail dated April 13th 1999 and I quote:

"A Toronto analyst, who asked not to be identified, said CGI has already talked to SBC Communications Inc. of San Antonio, Tex, and Ameritech Corp. of Chicago, which are merging, about buying their computer services arm. The two companies, which announced their intention to merge in May, 1998, expect to have the $62-billion deal approved by regulators this summer."

Sure hope so!
