Quintek to Launch Web Shuttle at ARMA Show

CAMARILLO, Calif., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Quintek Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin
Board: QTEK) has announced plans to unveil its new "Web Shuttle" software
application at the Association of Records Managers and Administration (ARMA)
1999 trade show (Booth 310) to be held at the Cincinnati Convention Center in
Cincinnati, Ohio from October 17-19, 1999. With 10,000 members in 43 nations,
ARMA expects over 4,000 members to attend this annual event. A primary function of
the ARMA show is to introduce new technology oriented towards improving the
management and preservation of corporate records.

"Quintek has uniquely combined its patented chemical free aperture card recorder
system with its newly released Web Shuttle software to provide a full service
conversion and archiving capability for digital information, said Tom Sims, President
& CEO of Quintek. "The Web Shuttle allows clients to use the Internet to store critical
information at a secured facility, distribute information to other locations, and retrieve
the original information if needed in the future". Quintek plans to start Beta testing of
the Web Shuttle at specific user sites shortly after introduction at the ARMA show.

Quintek supplies environmentally friendly equipment, software, media, and services
for converting digital information into archival media for off-site backup and
long-term storage. Off-site backup insures against the loss of digital information
due to catastrophic events. Long-term storage media insures against the loss of
digital information due to computer virus, technology obsolescence, year 2000
rollover, equipment failure, media degradation, change in formatting standards, and
software incompatibility.

Quintek is headquartered in Camarillo, California, with Sales and Marketing based
in Washington DC, manufacturing and Engineering based in Karlskoga Sweden (at
Bofors AB), and Engineering & Field support based in Montpelier, Idaho. Existing
customers include TRW, Caltrans, U.S. Navy, Lockheed-Martin, Dresser Industries,
Saudi Aramco Oil Company, and Duke Power among others.
