What does TVGIA bring to the GMST party?...(long post)

Fatboy, thanks for this analysis, even if it raised more questions than it answered. After a long time watching, I jumped in the pool here yesterday - the double whammy of resolving the TVG litigation and seeing the stock price crash around everyone's ears for the last week was too much to resist. So my basis is around ~69; today's action provides me with a comfortable cushion but I would not be surprised to see it drop again before we start climbing. The stock's reacted like a jet engine that just sucked in a flock of seagulls, and we've got to wait for all the feathers to stop flying before we can get this beast up to cruising altitude again.

It seems like Henry & co. have their work cut out for them - shedding the deadwood through selling TVG divisions and/or folding them into GMST operations, finding synergies where they exist (or creating them anew), and putting the rest of what they decide to keep on a Slim-Fast plan. They've certainly got enough raw material to work with here; the question is how well (and how soon) they execute the plan with all these balls up in the air. So in the end it comes down to one's belief in the quality and vision of the management - but doesn't it always?

mixing metaphorly yours,
~Rose~

I'm catching up on my DD here.
