BOB, the Irish Leprechaun, again...

BOB - Merrill Lynch Strypes better known as "the Irish Leprechaun" will go ex-dividend on WED 13-OCT. BOB pays $1.06/s/quarter - well over 11% APR yield.

So, TUE 12-OCT is the last day you can buy BOB, and you can sell him 13-OCT and still get his $1 buck/s.

But he's a tricky old Irishman! I chased him last quarter, buying him ex-div minus 4 days at around 41.5 BOB promptly ran down a hole, carrying his pot o' gold, forcing me to chase him down to ~37. Then, very weird, BOB makes a big hammer the day before ex-div, promptly goes up on ex-dividend day... I got out at ~43, +4 bones with his $1 buck dividend hitting the account two weeks later.

Be prepared to average down if you go chasing after this old Leprechaun (^_^)
