Wednesday October 6, 11:22 am Eastern Time Company Press Release Global Announces Acquisition of American DSL.COM MINNEAPOLIS---(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 6, 1999--(OTC BB:GLOW) Global Games Corporation announced today acquisition of American DSL.COM Incorporated, a Nevada Corporation providing Digital Subscriber Line Services (``DSL') to several markets in the United States. Through its relationship with Covad Communications (Nasdaq:COVD - news), American DSL is providing its high speed access to the Internet for data and video in to its customer base is in Southern California. It will be available in most ports of the United States. The acquisition was done with a tax-free exchange of stock. ``We are pleased with this acquisition,' noted Gary Borglund, President of Global. ``We feel providing high speed access as an additional service to our marketplace will enhance the software business we are in.' Global licenses Internet gaming software. Rick O'Neil, President of American DSL also noted: ``We feel the marriage with Global will enhance our markets.
