You are right. I shouldn't leave without correctly mentioning some positive deeds of the man. After made PoW in Normandy he broadcasted for BBC directed at German troops, was in the founding council of NWDR (North-West German Broadcasting Station, one of the first two post-war radios in Germany, North-West being the British-founded, Hessischer Rundfunk the American one). He did'nt like Adenauer, who had him playing on his lap when a few years younger, and moved over to GDR early enough to comment its' founding day (7.10.1949) and the first presidential election of W. Pieck. It cheered me up, but now I'll definitely leave. Nice day! MNI.
