You gotto be kidding. Have you seen the Athlon/Xeon benchmarks from the Microprocessor forum. Here you go: amd.com

And on the frequency scaling issue: AMD is shipping 700, talking about 750 later this month on their inferior 0.25 micron process (yeah, with 0.18 components) and Intel is expected to launch ~733 on their high-performance spanking new 0.18 micron process.
