IF, that is IF, that be the case, ie. 10 units = 100,000 ppm, then 30 units would be roughly 30% on a weight to volume basis (ie. 1% = 10,000 mg/l) and the 46 quoted by S & P a few responses previously, would be 46%???. This seems reasonable since we know the ELH blowout was both hydrocarbons and water/steam. Are there any chemists in the house, in order to verify this??? Meanwhile, I will scrounge around to see if I can find my old Standard Methods to check this out.
