Tom, thanks for the response. Don't want to belabor this relatively minor issue, but I am trying to understand how to anticipate patterns I "think" I see developing.

In your Book, you seem to suggest that trading above the BSL is preferable, but not mandatory, but that a positive RS is required for the shakeout pattern (pps 50-51). I initially thought that OAKT would not quality for the shakeout because it has a negative RS, but then I've noticed in recent weeks that several charts with negative RS are included in the DWA shakeout patterns. This suggests that the DWA computer is programmed to consider that trading above the BSL is in fact, more critical than a positive RS, rather than vice-versa. Your response confirms that.
