More results out, the following is the Marum version, because it's out
quicker, but pertains to the MIX project as well. Take not that there
are now 3 of 11 samples that fall in the 1.0 plus g/t range and the
apparent economic grade for a project of this nature would be an
average of .8 g/t, current average is running just over .6, but that
is without the high grade 46.67 g/t sample being factored in.

Oct.7/99 News Release: Additional Gold Results - Chinchaga Project

Additional Gold Results - Chinchaga Project

October 7, 1999 -- Marum Resources Inc. reports on the status of the
Chinchaga project. Marum is the operator of the International Tower
Hill/Marum and Micrex/Marum joint ventures and explores its 100% owned
properties in the Chinchaga area of northwestern Alberta.

Further to our news release of October 5, 1999 additional gold assay results have been received from Loring Laboratories in Calgary and are reported below together with the previously announced gold results.

Sample results followed with * were announced on October 5, 1999

Sample No: Gold (g/tonne)

9EMB255 0.397
9EMB256 0.406
9DBP302 0.640 *
9EMB253 0.680
A1-GREE 0.750 *
9EMB252 1.175
9EMB254 1.927

Average 0.617 (excluding sample 9SJP103)

The results indicate that the gold grades persist through a small but growing sample database. The average grade for 11 rock samples from three outcrop areas within a defined stratigraphic unit along a 33Km expansion fault zone is 0.617 g/tonne.

Additional rock outcrop samples taken during the September field program have been submitted for fire assay and the results will be announced as they are received.

Preparations for an intensive sampling program to be carried out in
mid-October are well underway.
