Ivan: ZILA's web site has a new press release that answers your questions:

1) I believe OraTest will be the U.S. name for the product known as OraScan in another country. 2) My understanding is that, yes, ZILA appears to have given up on licensing a big distributor like J&J. ZILA explains their rationale for the selection in the press release; they claim the merger with BDTC should benefit shareholders more in the long run than the alternatives because of synergies from the merger, greater control over marketing and distribution, and less sacrifice of profits to a larger distributor. The union seems to me to add confidence to the chances of regulatory approval. I wonder if the merger is conditional on regulatory approval or if they will merge regardless.
