It sounds like they are saying this:

"The cable companies are groveling (sp?)
a bit more than they were. We believe
they realize now that kissing Steve
Cases' ring would be good for them."

I would have a hard time dealing with
that mindset. I would be inclined to
wish them luck in their business endeavors
and then kick the crap out of them in the
market.
