Good question, as to the region over which these samples derive. The target area is massive. I don't know from which specific 'areas' the reported samples are coming, though it's reported to come from three separate outcrops along the same strata. Remember though, I believe, it's the extensive stratigraphic zone that is being systematically investigated, in order to extrapolate. [please bear in mind I'm only speculating]

As expressed, there were two big truckloads of samples taken all along the way by Marum's field crews (now mucho to process), and, as results are received they'll be released. This, as noted by president Boulay, will result in "choppy" results... but as more results are released we can better form a picture, with hopefully more information to decipher and apply.

The reason for my pointing out the 33km fault, is that it is a very extensive potential zone!

-re. my above comments,
Take the time to review Marum president's recent comments, here:

, including:
..Somebody asked how many samples were taken.... about two truckloads worth. A few till samples where we were able to find till, lots of stream samples, lots of auger core samples, and rocks from every outcrop we could find. It will take months to sort through all of this, however our style is to run precursor samples of anything that looks interesting then follow-through on positive hits. Metals come first because they are fast and cheap..

Today's reportin (the total 11 samples), are from three outcrop areas:

The results indicate that the gold grades persist through a small but growing sample database. The average grade for 11 rock samples from three outcrop areas within a defined stratigraphic unit along a 33Km expansion fault zone is 0.617 g/tonne.

Additional rock outcrop samples taken during the September field program have been submitted for fire assay and the results will be announced as they are received.

Preparations for an intensive sampling program to be carried out in
mid-October are well underway.

Lookin' good, better all the time, with three horses in the race, as Leigh has pointed out (diamonds, base metals, and now gold). I'm pumped!

We'll see how things transpire...

Best to all,
