I just noticed that Lihir ws down $4 1/8 today...WOW!!! This is quite interesting...from the Lihir NR (I think it shows that there will be a strong bid under gold for quite a while)... "The funds raised from the placement will be used to reduce the amount and cost of Lihir's debt finance, and will provide enhanced operational flexibility. It is expected that the hedgebook will be comprehensively restructured following the refinancing."
