WAITAMINUTE, COBE! However did you conclude that I think they should be "ashamed" of their service? What kind of jump did you make from my position to that? My position is that neither the fabulating President, Reagan, nor anyone else, should pretend to have made sacrifices they did not. It is not only just creepy, it trivializes the sacrifices of those who ACTUALLY MADE THEM. For example, to claim commonality of sacrifice with those who had not been able to make love to their wives for a long, hard, dirty, dangerous, and heartbreaking time, when you had been catching your zzz's next to yours in Hollywood is NOT NICE. At best. It's like sporting a purple heart you bought in a pawn shop. Expressing disgust at that action is hardly saying that all those who didn't earn purple hearts should be ashamed. For God's sake. Where are you coming from?
