I ain't buying the K7 /seventh generation core thing. K7 may have a "higher top", and some compelling attributes, but Coppermine has more than enough life to compete until Intel does actually release a seventh generation core. And I don't believe K7 will post seventh vs. sixth scores against it. As I have been saying for a long time, Coppermine will be competitive.

Coppermine is not a "Dixon Shrink". The design has plenty more room to scale for the time frame needed. Also, I firmly believe Intel's Al .18 will either meet or beat the copper competition, IMHO.
