SAN JACINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 1999--Peacock
Financial Corporation (OTCBB: PFCK) announced today that Solutions
Media, Inc. (SMI), an Internet and convergence technology firm
headquartered in San Diego and an equity holder of SpinRecords.com has
formed a music publishing company to augment its expanding online
record label. Peacock Financial is a major (800,000) shareholder of
SMI.
SpinRecords.com also announced that they have a formed a
strategic alliance with Software of the Month Club (SOMC).
SpinRecords.com CD's will be mailed to SOMC customers, a 60,000 member
retail network, in exchange for SpinRecords.com promoting special SOMC
software offers on the SpinRecords.com website.
Peacock has previously confirmed with management of Solutions
Media that an IPO (initial public offering) is in process, and based
on the equity stake Peacock owns, Peacock's book value could increase
by $ .40 per share.
