However you may feel about Sanjay, he "tells it like it is" and he simply noted that the entire Y2K effect is not past, particularly in Europe. There is something else to keep in mind: An awful lot of ERP software that was bought even a year ago is still being implemented there. With all this stuff going on, it is no wonder that new IT projects have slowed down. The trend could reverse next year as Europe is behind the U.S. in business-to-business e-commerce.
