Lots of good news, but stock just stuck consolidating. I like the following reminder of some of the potential. The market is still treading on this potential though. Waiting to see if LE and Co. really can capture a significant portion of the "net" paradigm shift. What thinks everyone else?

Oracle Corp. Chairman and CEO Larry Ellison said in a speech that the Internet represents a new way of computing, in which software can be sold and delivered over the Web as a service. It's a trend that Oracle has been trying to encourage, and not just because Ellison is a notorious enemy of Microsoft's Windows operating systems. Ellison said an Oracle company plans to sell a new $150 network computer that consists of simply an AMD microprocessor, the Linux operating system and the Netscape Navigator Web browser. Sounding a well-known Oracle theme, Ellison said, "We're going from personal computing to network computing via the Web."
