I dunno. Insects in my food does give me the queasies. I'd insist that they be without any telltale crunch.

My momma told a story about a girlfriend who had bought a pastry in postwar Belgrade. Pastries were a real luxury then and there as you can imagine. Well she bit off half of it - and commented on the strange texture. Well she made the mistake of looking at the remaining chunk of pastry. Embedded therein was the other half of the roach - big-ass waterbug roach - still twitching.

My momma said immediate projectile vomitus ensued. Bummer about her allowance.
