TobaccoMan and thread - here's the link to the STMI press release: biz.yahoo.com I've heard that analysts estimate HDS will generate about $10 million in annual revenues for HLIT within the next 1 1/2 years. They currently generate less than $1 million a quarter, so probably around $3 million a year. So rapid growth in this sector is expected. Of the Cyberstream products, the VSAT is probably the most promising since it is 2-way, which is important for many interactive systems. The other wireless Cyberstream products for LMDS and MMDS are one-way (mostly for Push services) with the return path through the telephone. Also, the Enterprise1 router could be a big hit for HDS.
