I think nobody wants Excite, not MSFT, not YHOO, not even Mr. Armstrong. I think that only the now departed Mr. Hinderey wanted it. What I heard is the advertising revenues and who gets how much is what is holding up the deal. Otherwise, if there is any one giant company with synergistic potential in this wheeling and dealing is AOL-Excite since AOL does not have what AOL has to offer.
