25 years later, it sticks in my mind like yesterday. I wouldn't have dropped lead weights, I would be sitting in some prison for manslaughter.. or rabbislaughter. No there were some kids still leaving the building, we knew we were not the only people in the school, but usually the staff make a bee line for the exits when the bell rings and the students file into the bathrooms and tried on lipstick, or 15 deniar nylons instead of 60 deniar white tights, and some even dared to try on 'jeans'... not me though I didn't dare try jeans until I was 17. We used to get them at woolworths..
