Anyone on the thread remember that?

I wonder what the last 18 months acceleration in design wins means for forward rates of growth? Does it mean PMCS' footprint is growing? Let's see, what's the difference between WAN infrastructure product cycles and LAN product cycles?<

i'll take Wide Area Networks for a thousand, Alex ...

indeed, PMCS dropped new 14 products in '98, twice that in '97.

so, while design-win-to-revenue cycles for LAN vendors tend to be only 6-12 months vice 12-18 months for the WAN IC suppliers, many of the latter's product life cycles can be 2-5 years!

is this double jeopardy?

the question for Mr. SG Cowen is, how many of those design wins have yet to materially add to the top line?

Vortex chipset for DSLAM? 672-channel FREEDM? hey, wasn't there a T1/E1 packet processor announced on tuesday?

be a sport and hook Rick Billy up!
