I feel answering pm's to people whom you do not wish to talk - but who bother you in pm- is NOT really a pm. It is just being polite- the only other option is to ignore them- but I am about to the point where I will start doing that. I could see how you could have a different opinion. I find it to be analogous to being called by a telemarketer- you say "I already have double pained windows" in order to get rid of them- was that a telephone call? I don't know- it wasn't a phone call I would have made, I merely picked up my phone and had to avoid someone- but technically it is a phone call if you talk on the phone. So let's say I have answered nuisance pm's if you like.
