I doubt if any one would buy BEAS at this price. Not now. Even HP is not geared to handle enterprise software business. It doesn't matter now - if BEAS continues its vigor in the ECommerce market. Rebranding is essential to BEAS. The term Enterprise Middleware has lost its charm. "ECommerce Transactions" sounds more in tune with the current market. Though I see BEAS' products are used by many, I haven't noticed the big guys such as Scient/Viant and other web site building companies pick up BEAS' stuff. They could use WLE for aspiring web businesses. WLE can help web companies scale to the sizes of Amazon/E*Trade - without too much effort. This winter will be testing time for the scalability and reliability of all web business sites. Interestingly, I saw an article in recent Business Week - about a company called Cogniscent. They are like Scient but seems to talk more about BEAS' customers. Don't know how big they are - but wish they use BEAS' stuff. I was at Internet World today in NY .. haven't seen BEAS over there. It is important for BEAS to participate in these conferences. - Zelix
