<<BTW if the Q is performing as it is now without 3G anywhere in the World how is it going to do in a year or so when 3G is going to be all over the World!!!!!!!!>>The potential is awesome!!!QUALCOMM as a standard-setter in this new market is guaranteed that its future is set.The huge and massive market scale that will be created will thrust QUALCOMM into a position of power reserved only for the likes of GORILLA stocks.When CDMA is named the world -standard for third generation systems there will be a massive uplift in demand as every supply chain comes rushing in to meet that demand and to fill the void of this huge market.This is why QUALCOMM leaped over 50 points in one day when the Ericcson capitulated.The beginning was formed for all the vendors and supply houses for components ,chips,software ect.ect.to get ready for the parchment to say WORLDWIDE CDMA STANDARD.Really though it is set in stone by the market puting the standard in place so the compatibility exist for the huge wealth machine can get rolling for all concerned.QUALCOMM will be the ultimate GORILLA as evidenced already in the fortune magazine addressing Globalstar and how the Europeans have no choice but to get with QUALCOMM or die in a dataless,voiceless desert.Exciting times are ahead and the fun starts next week October 11 as the World Telcom Union meets at Telecom 99 in Geneva.Globalstar gets officially started in service as well.Geneva anyone?
