The details of whether or not Reagan was actually able to make love to his wife on his preferred schedule seem quite irrelevant to me. The obvious truth is that his military career had nothing whatsoever in common with those of most of those millions of veterans with whom he grouped himself. While he may technically have been a "veteran", his attempt to don the mantle of the tired veteran staggering gratefully home to his family does seem a bit absurd, to put the kindest possible interpretation on it, in light of the experiences from which others among those millions of veterans were returning.

How did you feel about the close personal relationship Reagan had with the Marcos family, and the effect that it had on US policy? Isn't it somewhat unbecoming for the leader of the free world to be seen wrapped around the finger of one of the century's greatest crooks?
