Greg, with Dell having the lowest cost structure (by a good bit) of the big 4 PC players....In this simultaneous chess game, Dell basically has Compaq's 2 rooks, HP's queen and IBM's bishop/knight.....

As long as Dell makes no stupid moves (execution)...they should win the game...

By being the lowest cost players, I think these crises situations actually enhance Dell's advantage...as Dell grabs more marketshare, Dell's gains even more leverage with suppliers...making the air even more rare for the others...you see where I'm going with this...

Man, what sort of leverage are they going to have when they have 20, 25%?? <G> Little guys must be shakin' (seeing the writin' on the wall)..
