Hi John,

This is my first message to Stock Talk. I have been reading this thread about a month. I have the WinMidas software that is talked about in the group that you mention. I tried the formulas for support and resistance in WOW and it is clumbersome to use because you have to submit the day number of a day referenced to the database of a peak or valley. The only way that I know of how to do that is by trial and error. I have found that the support and resistance values is amazingly accurate. I don't know about Gann and others, but I would be shocked if they were as accurate or usefull.

Topfinder is very hard to use, it takes a great deal of skill in curve fitting and interpretation, even with the proper software. I am still learning it and can't speak to it's value.

PS. I am a raw beginner so take the comments from where they came.
