I'm looking at those G4s in MacWorld. The $2500 machine has three external firewire connectors and one internal connector, for FUTURE products. Apple is really looking ahead. And from what they claim, the G4 is a SCREAMER!!! Twice as fast as a Pentium III 600 for intensive apps like Photoshop filters.

So my big dilemma is whether to shell out the extra $1000 (about $3500) to get the G4 and all the goodies (including the DVD-RAM and a 19-inch monitor), or spend the $2500 on a higher-end PC with almost all that stuff, but no mega-digital video capabilities like the Mac. Tim, do you have any problem running PC programs in emulation on your Mac?
