can you explain to me why a company that functions on six days of inventory now needs 12 weeks to determine the impact of the disruption as parts" work thru the production cycle"?how do they price a box for delivery today? if i order one i`ll have it in a couple weeks so how can they have any idea where they are from a p&l standpoint if they need 12 weeks to determine their costs?dell is avery well managed company so doesnt this explanation sound odd?what am i missing?
