In no way do I stand to gain or lose due to the success or failure of Rambus. I think that many on this thread think along the following lines: "Believe what Intel and Rambus say and suspect the motives of anyone with contrary views." Time will tell. Much of my opinion on Rambus comes from talking with people in the Dram business and from my own judgements of the technology based on having spent 31 years in the microprocessor field. I think that you should be aware that there are many engineers in high tech who believe as I do but they cannot speak out publicly due to the market power of Intel. Maybe that makes you feel good but I don't think it is a good thing.
