Ken, it's not just the earnings. IFLO is following the same pattern as GTNR. Sure, earnings fuel the run, but look at the developments behind the scenes, including business relationships, institutional following, analyst coverage, new product development, execution of game plan, sector strength, etc.
Looking across the threads of SI, there aren't many threads that do more than briefly discuss why a stock is selected. In my opinion, most threads simply list stocks and give buy signals. Threads that offer anything worthwhile usually have a $$$$ amount to join in a mailing list or website, etc.
I am happy to participate on a thread where careful analyses of technical and fundamental data is used to analyse a stock. I do admit that at first the technical picture was not in my game plan at all, but I am learning to use TA more and more.
