The public float is 4,463,000 shares an additional warrants representing 1,960,785 shares will become tradable when the company begins listing on the TSE. This will make the total public float 6,423,785. I believe the warrants are exercisable after July 21, 2000. The additional warrants were part of a sale to institutional investors and raised $15,000,005.25. "Wi-LAN will use the net proceeds of this offering to finance increased research and development exploiting its W-OFDM technology leadership and speed-up the development of an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) that would appreciably reduce the component cost of W-OFDM technology. The financing will also improve Wi-LAN?s negotiating power for any licensing or partnership deals and enhance Wi-LAN?s working capital for larger projects." By the way Sprott securities was one of the underwriters of this and they have been one of the major purchasers of the stock over the past weeks.
