Announces the Award of a Major New
Contract for Its CyberLAB II
Laboratory Information System
CALABASAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 25, 1999--Creative Computer Applications
Inc. (AMEX:CAP - news), a provider of Clinical Information Systems for hospital, and
clinic-based laboratories, pharmacies and radiology departments announced today that it was
awarded a contract for approximately $840,000 for the provision of its CyberLAB II®
Laboratory Information System to The University of California, San Diego Medical Center.
The contract calls for the Company to provide an enterprise-wide laboratory information system
that will link the clinical laboratories that serve UCSD Medical Center, Hillcrest, UCSD
Thornton Hospital, La Jolla and other clinics. The Company and UCSD Medical Center also
entered into a long-term extended service agreement in connection with the transaction.
