Almost right. USWorst figured out how to reduce truck rolls on xDSL by installing almost all of it outside of USW territory. Places like Florida and Phoenix. You know, where their CWA locals held no sway.

Additionally, you may recall previous posts I have written to this thread stating that the official position of USWest is that they are not rolling out xDSL service in Central and Eastern Oregon and have no plans to do so in the foreseeable future. This, of course, is at odd with the fact that several ISPs and local tech savvy businesses have LATAs humming away.
