Kash I found the following most interesting by far,

"The oval system was actually commissioned by AMD, he stated. The company owns the design and is licensing it to PC manufacturers on the condition that they use K6-2 chips inside it."

AMD is now into designing stylish boxes, LOL. Now I am very curious to see what these boxes look like. It would be worth a trip to the zoo (Fry's).

I also wonder if any company will follow Packard Bell and use the design. I can's see Compaq or IBM doing it but maybe Nextar or NEC.
