Dennis,
It was quite an interesting experience. I'm in my mid fifties and I
went there by myself for the sole purpose of checking it out so my
experience was probably different from the families that were there.
This is the kind of a place that you take your family to, the kind of
a place where you watch your kids reactions. And I can tell you the
kids were loving it. There is a lot of things happening;
1. I was struck by the midnight blue ceiling with the stars in
it. Then all-of-a-sudden a shooting star goes streaking
across the night sky. Great!
2. Big waterfall. Kids loved it I thought it a bit to noisy.
(It's the over fifty thing again.)
3. You can hear a thunderstorm as if at a distance and then it
approaches, finally sweeping overhead with dramatic sounds
and lighting. Neat!
4. Aquariums everywhere, foliage everywhere, activity everywhere
5. Retail area very nicely done and very well staffed.
6. The guy out front with the birds was great, a big plus but I
don't know if it goes on after the grand openning stage.
7. The food was great, a little expensive but great. I had
Rasta Pasta and if you like cream, garlic, chicken and
broccoli you'll love this.
