State Battles Mice, But Mickey's Safe

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Rooters) - Florida Gov. Jeb Bush Thursday pledged $200,000 of state money to help battle an
infestation of mice in Orange County, where the Disney World theme park is located.

But the exterminators won't be targeting the rodent king of Florida tourism.

Disney World's public relations department said the outbreak was near Apopka, miles from Mickey Mouse's stomping
grounds.
There was no comment from an understandably distressed Minnie Mouse, or Rev. Solon.
