Big deposit, yes. HOWEVER, do you know where it is? For those that don't, the Georges Lake area is in the new native area of Nunavit and is probably a thousand, or so, miles away from any railroad or road access (above the Arctic Circle, no less). It is actually not that far west of Hudson's Bay (Americans get out your Atlas's). The question is, how do you keep operating costs down in such a remote, inhospitable area. I think Wheaton did some arithmetic (i.e. pre feasibility work up)on the merits of creating a port site to access the property. On top of this, Wheaton will have do deal with the native issues regarding the environment, jobs, etc., before proceeding with Georges Lake. To Wheaton's credit, they successfully dealt with some very difficult native concerns in re-opening the Golden Bear mine, including the Telegraph Creek band blockading the road access to the mine.
