Just an idea, but can imagine the possibilities for a free ISP of being the introducer of hundreds of other Inet companies. Online drugtores, flowershops, charity, banking, bookstores, etc etc. I realize that it is already in the plans but I don't know if everyone can appreciate the full scope of the concept. They can develop their own ecommerce software and also charge per transaction, per click, per view, and so on. Also, does anyone know of any B2B plans ?

Pro-Bono Ads on The ZeroPort Raise Awareness of NetAid Concert

In a show of support for NetAid, the global Internet initiative to help eradicate extreme poverty, free Internet access provider NetZero Inc. (Nasdaq:NZRO) today announced that, beginning today and continuing through the holiday season, it will be running NetAid ads for free on The ZeroPort -- the company's navigational tool display window.

NetZero will also be adding an exclusive "NetAid" button onto The ZeroPort in its next release of The ZeroPort, which will provide NetZero's users with a direct link to the NetAid Web site (www.netaid.org). Between October 1998 and Aug. 31, 1999, more than 1.68 million users registered for NetZero's service.

"The biggest hurdle to getting involved is knowing how or where to start. Now with a click of a button, NetZero users can find out how they can help contribute to a worthy cause," said Mark R. Goldston, chairman and chief executive officer of NetZero. "Our mission at NetZero is to connect users for free to the ideas and things they are passionate about.
