Mark, your point about substitute suppliers to stem a shortage based on fears of loss of product from the earthquake is well taken. But the fact is that if someone buys CF made by a firm other than SNDK, royalties are still payble to SNDK. The exception is Lexar. Here is a situation where Lexar could really profit by increasing its production--until the court lowers the boom on patent infringement. When and if that happens (and I think it will, but I don't know when), SNDK could sue for treble damages for intentional infringement. If the resolution of the suit goes in favor of SNDK, I think we will see an immediate gain in stock price of at least 50 percent from present levels, bringing the stock up to or greater than its previous high.
