I agree with the discontinuation of the external Clik! It made very little sense. I got the impression it was a stop gap move to get the product out in front of the public while looking for manufacturers to accept it for their products. As a laptop/camera drive, I think it has potential. If they can manage to sell the product to manufacturers for inclusion in high end products. If your laptop had a Clik! drive (that worked well) you would be more inclined to get a camera with a Clik! drive. At this point I think IOMs only hope is to sell out to a company that knows how to market consumer electronic products (Sony). IOM just can't do it. Dunn has no ability to put together a decent team to go forward. Glore's prediction of Clik! representing 10% of the bottom line for this year will probably be off by a factor of 10. Add to that the writeoffs for closing the external Clik! business and we should see huge losses related to Clik!. At the Comdex IOM booth they should give away rubber chickens with a IOM logo on it's chest. When squeezed it says "Cluk!" and a disk drops out of it's ass.
